Italian Mattia Bellucci reached the second round of the Montpellier Open by winning against Frenchman Lucas Pouille 6-4, 6-4 at the Sud de France Arena.
Bellucci, ranked No 98, will play the winner of the match between American qualifier Aleksandar Kovacevic and Belgian David Goffin, the No 6 seed, next.
