Munar upsets Shelton to make Dallas quarter-finals
Munar will play Italian Matteo Arnaldi, the No 8 seed, in the next round of the Dallas Open

Jaume Munar knocked off American Ben Shelton, the No 4 seed, 6-2, 7-6 (3) to move into the quarter-finals of the Dallas Open at the Ford Center at The Star on Thursday.
Munar, ranked No 64, will play eighth-seeded Italian Matteo Arnaldi next.
In the previous round of the tournament, the Spaniard beat China’s Bu Yunchaokete 7-5, 6-2.
Shelton, ranked No 13, defeated Australian Aleksandar Vukic(6-3, 6-3 in the opening round.
