Nadal and Alcaraz to play exhibition in Las Vegas in March

Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz will play an exhibition in Las Vegas in March.

The two men, who last met at the Madrid Open in 2022, when Alcaraz snatched his first win in their three encounters, will face off at Las Vegas in a match entitled, The Netflix Slam, on March 3.

Exhibition is just before Indian Wells

The match had been scheduled to take place in 2023, only for Nadal to miss it through injury. And though it may only be an exhibition, it’s also an indication that Nadal is intending to play as full a schedule as he can as he returns from the hip injury he suffered at this year’s Australian Open and which has kept him out all year.

The match will be played just before the Indian Wells Masters 1000 event, which takes place a few hours away, suggesting Indian Wells, as usual, will be in his plans.

Nadal is due to make his comeback at the Brisbane International, which begins on December 31.
