Nordea Open: Tirante stuns top seed Rublev
Thiago Agustin Tirante edged out Andrey Rublev 7-6 (5), 3-6, 6-4 on Wednesday evening and will play Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena in the next round

Argentinian Thiago Agustin Tirante edged out Russian Andrey Rublev, the top seed, 7-6 (5), 3-6, 6-4 to move into the quarter-finals of the Nordea Open at the Båstads tennisstadion in Bastad on Wednesday evening.
Tirante, ranked No 121, will play Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena next.
Ahead of his victory, the Argentinian edged out Portuguese qualifier Jaime Faria (3-6, 6-1, 6-4).
