Paris Masters: Zverev into last eight, the quarterfinals are set

German Alexander Zverev, the No 3 seed, advanced to the quarter-finals of Paris Masters by winning against Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the No 15 seed, 6-2, 6-4 at the Paris La Défense Arena on Thursday evening.

Zverev, ranked No 3, will play Russian Daniil Medvedev, the No 11 seed, next. The defending champion will meet the Russian in a remake of the 2020 final on Friday as the last match of the schedule.
