Qatar Open: Humbert moves into quarter-finals

Frenchman Ugo Humbert, the No 3 seed, reached the last 8 of the Qatar Open by beating Russian Pavel Kotov 6-4, 6-1 at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha on Wednesday evening.
Humbert, ranked No 18, will face the winner of the match between French wildcard Gael Monfils and Chinese Zhizhen Zhang next.
In the previous round of the Doha tournament, Kotov, ranked No 64, won against Italian Lorenzo Sonego (6-2, 7-5).
