Qatar Open: Auger-Aliassime loses to Medvedev in semi-final
Daniil Medvedev won against Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-4, 7-6 (7) on Friday and will play wildcard Andy Murray in the final

Russian Daniil Medvedev, the No 3 seed, moved into the final of the Qatar Open by beating Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the second seed, 6-4, 7-6 (7) at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha on Friday evening.
Medvedev, ranked No 8, will play wildcard Andy Murray next.
Ahead of his victory, the Russian won against qualifier Liam Broady (6-4, 6-3) and edged out Australian Christopher O’Connell (6-2, 0-0, 7-5).
Auger-Aliassime, ranked No 9, edged out Australian Jason Kubler (4-6, 6-1, 6-4) and defeated Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the No 7 seed (6-4, 7-6 (5)) earlier in the tournament.
