Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp beat Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta 7-6 (5), 6-2 to move into the second round of the Shanghai Masters at the Qi Zhong Tennis Center on Wednesday.

Van De Zandschulp, ranked No 67, will face No 31 seed Tomas Martin Etcheverry next.
