German lucky loser Daniel Altmaier won against American Aleksandar Kovacevic 1-6, 6-4, 6-3 to reach the second round of the Rotterdam Open at the Rotterdam Ahoy on Wednesday.
Altmaier, ranked No 93, will play the winner of the match between No 7 seed Arthur Fils and qualifier Constant Lestienne next.
