Jiri Lehecka moved into the second round of the Rotterdam Open by defeating Australian Alexei Popyrin 7-5, 6-2 at the Rotterdam Ahoy on Tuesday.
Lehecka, ranked No 24, will play Pole Hubert Hurkacz, the No 8 seed, next.
