Frenchman Ugo Humbert, the second seed, moved into the semi-finals of the’s-Hertogenbosch Open by winning against Portuguese Nuno Borges, the No 7 seed, 6-1, 6-4 at the Autotron Rosmalen on Friday.
Humbert, ranked No 20, will face the winner of the match between Canadian Gabriel Diallo and Russian Karen Khachanov, the No 3 seed, next.
The Frenchman defeated qualifier Daniel Evans (7-5, 6-3) in the previous round of the Rosmalen tournament.
In the previous rounds of the Rosmalen tournament, Borges, ranked No 38, beat American Nishesh Basavareddy (7-6 (2), 6-2) and Finnish wildcard Otto Virtanen (W/O).
