American lucky loser Reilly Opelka moved into the last right of the ‘s-Hertogenbosch Open by beating Chilean Nicolas Jarry 7-6 (5), 6-3 at the Autotron Rosmalen on Thursday.
Opelka, ranked No 87, will face the winner of the match between Russian Daniil Medvedev, the top seed, and French lucky loser Adrian Mannarino next.
Ahead of his victory, the American won against Dutch wildcard Jesper De Jong (6-7 (5), 7-6 (5), 6-2).
Jarry, ranked No 150, edged out Italian Luciano Darderi, the No 8 seed (5-7, 6-4, 7-6 (3)) in the previous round of the Rosmalen tournament.
