Shanghai Masters: Jarry continues fine form to beat Sonego and advance to last 16

Chilean Nicolas Jarry, the No 22 seed, advanced to the last 16 of the Shanghai Masters by winning against Italian Lorenzo Sonego 7-6 (4), 6-2 at the Qi Zhong Stadium.
Jarry, ranked No 22, will play Argentinian wildcard Diego Schwartzman next.
The Chilean beat French qualifier Terence Atmane (7-5, 6-2) ahead of his victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Sonego, ranked No 59, defeated Australian qualifier Philip Sekulic (6-3, 6-2) and American Frances Tiafoe, the No 10 seed (2-6, 6-2, 6-3).
