Frenchman Gael Monfils edged out Hungarian Marton Fucsovics 2-6, 6-2, 7-5 to advance to the second round of the Stockholm Open at the Kungliga Tennishallen.
Monfils, ranked No 140, will play Austrian qualifier Filip Misolic next.
