Stuttgart Open: Tiafoe beats Lehecka to move into last eight

American Frances Tiafoe, the No 3 seed, advanced to the last eight of the Stuttgart Open by beating Czech Jiri Lehecka 7-6 (2), 6-4 at Tennis Club Weissenhof on Wednesday evening.
Tiafoe, ranked No 12, will face Italian Lorenzo Musetti next.
Lehecka, ranked No 37, edged out American Marcos Giron (4-6, 6-3, 6-4) in the previous round of the Stuttgart tournament.
