Stuttgart Open: Top seed Zverev books spot in last four
Alexander Zverev won against Brandon Nakashima 7-5, 6-4 on Friday. He’ll face the winner of the match between American Ben Shelton, the No 3 seed, and No 8 seed Jiri Lehecka in the next round

German Alexander Zverev, the top seed, defeated American Brandon Nakashima, the No 6 seed, 7-5, 6-4 to advance to the last four of the Stuttgart Open at Tennisclub Weissenhof Stuttgart on Friday afternoon.
Zverev, ranked No 3, will face the winner of the match between American Ben Shelton, the No 3 seed, and No 8 seed Jiri Lehecka next.
In the previous round of the Stuttgart tournament, the German won against Frenchman Corentin Moutet (6-2, 7-6 (7)).
Nakashima, ranked No 31, beat Jacob Fearnley (4-6, 7-6 (4), 6-1) and Learner Tien (7-6 (5), 6-3) earlier in the tournament.
