Toronto Masters: McDonald moves past Karatsev, into second round against Rublev

American Mackenzie McDonald moved into the second round of the Toronto Masters by beating Russian Aslan Karatsev 6-3, 6-4 at the Aviva Centre on Tuesday evening.

McDonald, ranked No 59, will play No 6 seed Andrey Rublev next.
