Learner Tien beat Tristan Schoolkate 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 on Monday evening and will face No 9 seed Fabian Marozsan in the next round
American qualifier Learner Tien moved into the second round of the Winston-Salem Open by defeating Australian qualifier Tristan Schoolkate 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex on Monday evening.
Tien, ranked No 231, will play No 9 seed Fabian Marozsan next.
