Hangzhou Open: Hijikata advances to last eight as Marozsan pulls out
The Australian will meet American Brandon Nakashima, the No 4 seed, or qualifier Coleman Wong in the next round

Australian Rinky Hijikata advanced to the quarter-finals of the Hangzhou Open after Hungarian Fabian Marozsan, the No 7 seed, withdrew before the match on Friday at the Hengqin International Tennis Center.
Hijikata, ranked No 81, will play the winner of the match between American Brandon Nakashima, the No 4 seed, and qualifier Coleman Wong next. This is the Australian’s sixth ATP Tour-level quarter-final of his career.
The 23-year-old Australian won against Bosnian Damir Dzumhur (2-6, 7-6 (6), 6-2) in the previous round of the tournament.
Earlier in the week, Marozsan, ranked No 49, defeated Italian Luca Nardi (6-0, 6-2).
