Australian Open: 19-year-old Michelsen upsets Lehecka
Alex Michelsen edged out Jiri Lehecka 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 on Thursday night. He’ll play the winner of the match between German Alexander Zverev, the No 6 seed, and Slovak qualifier Lukas Klein in the next round

American Alex Michelsen advanced to the third round of the Australian Open by edging out No 32 seed Jiri Lehecka 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 at Melbourne Park on Thursday.
Michelsen, ranked No 91, will face the winner of the match between German Alexander Zverev, the No 6 seed, and Slovak qualifier Lukas Klein next.
The 19-year-old American won against Australian wildcard James McCabe (7-6 (5), 3-6, 6-1, 6-2) in the previous round.
In the previous round, Lehecka, ranked No 23, defeated Spaniard Bernabe Zapata Miralles (6-3, 6-2, 6-3).
