Moïse Kouamé, 17, ranked No. 318, was two points from defeat at 5-4 down in the fifth – and won. The French wild card beat Adolfo Daniel Vallejo 6-3, 7-5, 3-6, 2-6, 7-6(8) in five hours to reach the Roland-Garros third round, the youngest man in the last 32 of a major since Nadal at 2003 Wimbledon.
