The tennis world must also note what has happened to these players following their recovery. Some have played well briefly only to collapse again with exhaustion. This is, as Kyrgios says, no joke. We must encourage all players to be vaccinated. It has been a tragedy for the world but also for sport and for this peculiarly international sport where top players are no longer able to play at their best.
