Roland-Garros: Muchova books spot in second round, waiting for Sakkari (or Burel…)

Czech Karolina Muchova reached the second round of the French Open by winning against Frenchwoman Carole Monnet 6-3, 6-3 at Stade Roland-Garros in Paris on Sunday afternoon.

Muchova, ranked No 79, will face the winner of the next match between Frenchwoman Clara Burel and Greek Maria Sakkari next.
