Roland-Garros: Ofner fights back from two sets down to beat Baez, makes third round

Austrian Sebastian Ofner eventually beat Argentinian Sebastian Baez, the No 20 seed, 3-6, 3-6, 6-4, 7-5, 7-6 (5) to advance to the third round of Roland-Garros in Paris.

Ofner, ranked No 45, will face the winner of the match between Frenchman Corentin Moutet and Kazakh Alexander Shevchenko next.

The Austrian overhauled French wildcard Terence Atmane (3-6, 4-6, 7-6 (2), 6-2, 7-5) ahead of his victory.

In the previous round of the Roland-Garros 2024, Baez, ranked No 20, defeated Brazilian qualifier Gustavo Heide (4-6, 6-3, 6-1, 4-6, 6-3).
