Her longest match of the tournament lasted one hour and 24 minutes (in the final against Sofia Kenin) and she didn’t lose a single set to win her first Grand Slam, at just 19.– The highlight:Her victory against Simona Halep. Big favourite for Roland-Garros, the Romanian was swept away by Swiatek in the round of 16, 6-1, 6-2. The Pole has never been so impressive as she was on that day, and this victory gave her a boost of confidence to go and lift the trophy.
