US Open: Bonzi makes third round, back from two sets to love against Giron

Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi advanced to the third round of the US Open by coming back against American Marcos Giron 2-6, 4-6, 7-5, 6-3, 6-4 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York on Wednesday .
Bonzi, ranked No 51 and Medvedev’s conqueror in the first round (6-3, 7-5, 6-7 (5), 0-6, 6-4), will face the winner of the match between Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech and Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the No 18 seed, next.
Giron appeared pretty tired in the fifth. In the previous round of the US Open, he won against Argentinian Mariano Navone (6-0, 7-5, 4-6, 5-7, 6-4).
