US Open: Fritz advances to third round
Taylor Fritz edged out Lloyd Harris 4-6, 7-6 (3), 6-2, 6-4 on Wednesday evening and will face Swiss qualifier Jerome Kym in the next round

American Taylor Fritz, the No 4 seed, edged out South African qualifier Lloyd Harris 4-6, 7-6 (3), 6-2, 6-4 to advance to the third round of the US Open at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York on Wednesday.
Fritz, ranked No 4, will face Swiss qualifier Jerome Kym next. The American defeated wildcard Emilio Nava (7-5, 6-2, 6-3) ahead of his victory.
