Rafael Nadal was too strong for Daniil Medvedev at the Mexican Open on Friday in a rematch of their Australian Open final. The Spaniard, who beat Medvedev in five sets in last month’s grand slam final in Melbourne, saw off the Russian 6-3 6-3. He’ll now meet Cameron Norrie after the Briton upset Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets earlier.
