Wimbledon: Jiri Lehecka into third round without the loss of a set

Jiri Lehecka won against Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the No 18 seed, 6-2, 6-2, 6-2 to reach the third round of Wimbledon at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Thursday.

Lehecka, ranked No 37, will face the winner of the match between Canadian Milos Raonic and American Tommy Paul, the No 16 seed, next.

The Czech talent has been seen practicing with former Wimbledon runner-up Tomas Berdych this week at Aorangi Park. Apparently, they have been productive sessions.

Ahead of his victory, Jiri Lehecka beat Austrian wildcard Sebastian Ofner (6-4, 6-4, 6-4).

Cerundolo, ranked No 19, edged out Portuguese Nuno Borges (5-7, 6-3, 6-3, 6-4) in the previous round of The Championships.
