Wimbledon: Otte moves into third round

German Oscar Otte, the No 32 seed, reached the third round of Wimbledon when American qualifier Christian Harrison retired on Wednesday at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London.
Otte, ranked No 36, led 3-1 when Harrison, ranked No 251, pulled out at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Wednesday afternoon.
The German will face the winner of the match between Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor and Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the No 5 seed, next.
Oscar Otte defeated Peter Gojowczyk (6-1, 6-2, 6-1) in the previous round.
In the first round, the American won against wildcard Jay Clarke (7-6 (3), 6-1, 7-6 (6)).
