Ekaterina Alexandrova, the No 7 seed, won against American qualifier Catherine McNally 6-0, 6-1 to move into the last 4 of the Dutch Open at the Autotron Rosmalen on Friday afternoon.
Alexandrova, ranked No 30, will play Russian Veronika Kudermetova, the No 6 seed, next.
In the previous rounds, the Russian defeated Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska (2-6, 7-6 [1], 6-2) and Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina (6-4, 6-2).
McNally, ranked No 229, won against Australian Daria Saville (7-6 [3], 6-3) and Slovenian Tamara Zidansek, the No 4 seed (6-1, 6-1) earlier in the tournament.
