Angers Open: Serban beats Leonard to reach second round

Cypriot Raluka Serban won against French wildcard Manon Leonard 6-4, 6-0 to move into the second round of the Angers Open at the Arena Loire de Trélazé.

Serban, ranked No 185, will face the winner of the match between Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska, the No 6 seed, and French wildcard Tiphanie Lemaitre next.
