Antalya Open: Waltert advances to last four

Swiss Simona Waltert advanced to the last four of the Antalya Open by defeating Serb Olga Danilovic, the No 7 seed, 7-6 (4), 6-2 at the Megasaray Tennis Academy on Friday.
Waltert, ranked No 181, will face the winner of the match between Russian Polina Kudermetova and Spaniard Jessica Bouzas Maneiro, the No 5 seed, next.
Earlier in the tournament, the Swiss won against Hungarian Dalma Galfi (6-4, 6-3) and Frenchwoman Elsa Jacquemot (6-2, 6-4).
Danilovic, ranked No 133, beat German Eva Lys (6-2, 6-0) and Pole qualifier Katarzyna Kawa (7-6 (4), 6-4) in the previous rounds of the Antalya tournament.
