Bad Homburg Open: Samsonova advances to last eight
Liudmila Samsonova won against Linda Noskova 6-4, 6-7 (4), 6-3 on Tuesday and will play the winner of the match between Czech Katerina Siniakova and Russian Evgeniya Rodina in the next round

Russian Liudmila Samsonova, the second seed, moved into the quarter-finals of the Bad Homburg Open by defeating Czech Linda Noskova 6-4, 6-7 (4), 6-3 at Bod Hombourg vor der Höhe on Tuesday afternoon.
Samsonova, ranked No 15, will face the winner of the match between Czech Katerina Siniakova and Russian Evgeniya Rodina next.
The Russian won against Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova (6-1, 6-4) in the previous round of the Bad Hombourg tournament.
In the previous round of the Bad Hombourg tournament, Noskova, ranked No 45, beat Ukrainian qualifier Kateryna Baindl (6-2, 7-5).
