Canadian Open: Navarro flies through her opener
Emma Navarro won against Rebecca Marino 6-1, 6-2 on Tuesday evening and will face the winner of the match between Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska, the No 30 seed, and Colombian Camila Osorio in the next round

American Emma Navarro, the No 8 seed, advanced to the third round of the Canadian Open by defeating Canadian wildcard Rebecca Marino 6-1, 6-2 at the IGA Stadium in Montreal on Tuesday evening.
Navarro, ranked No 11, will play the winner of the match between Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska, the No 30 seed, and Colombian Camila Osorio next.
Marino, ranked No 118, won against French qualifier Elsa Jacquemot (7-6 (2), 6-1) in the previous round of the Rogers Cup.
