Canberra Open: Parrizas Diaz moves into quarter-finals
Nuria Parrizas Diaz won against Sara Saito 6-2, 6-4 on Wednesday and will face the winner of the match between Dalma Galfi and Oksana Selekhmeteva next

Spaniard Nuria Parrizas Diaz, the top seed, defeated Japanese qualifier Sara Saito 6-2, 6-4 to reach the last eight of the Canberra Open at the Canberra Tennis Centre on Wednesday.
Parrizas Diaz, ranked No 91, will play the winner of the match between Hungarian Dalma Galfi and Russian qualifier Oksana Selekhmeteva next.
In the previous round of the Canberra tournament, the 33-year-old Spaniard edged out Croat Jana Fett (3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (5)).
Saito, ranked No 150, won against Montenegrin Danka Kovinic (7-6 (3), 6-1) during the first round of the Canberra tournament.
