Dubai Open: Kalinskaya beats Bucsa to reach last 16

Russian qualifier Anna Kalinskaya reached the last 16 of the Dubai Open by beating Spanish lucky loser Cristina Bucsa 6-3, 6-4 at The Aviation Club Tennis Centre on Tuesday.
Kalinskaya, ranked No 40, will play the winner of the match between Latvian Jelena Ostapenko, the No 9 seed, and Swiss wildcard Lulu Sun next.
The Russian won against Australian qualifier Storm Hunter (6-1, 6-2) ahead of her victory.
