Eastbourne Open: Gracheva reaches quarter-finals
Varvara Gracheva won against Rebecca Sramkova 7-5, 6-3 on Wednesday afternoon and will face second seed Barbora Krejcikova in the next round

French qualifier Varvara Gracheva won against Slovak Rebecca Sramkova, the No 8 seed, 7-5, 6-3 to move into the last eight of the Eastbourne Open at the Devonshire Park Lawn Club on Wednesday afternoon.
Gracheva, ranked No 111, will face second seed Barbora Krejcikova next.
The Frenchwoman edged out Colombian Camila Osorio (6-4, 4-6, 7-5) in the previous round of the Eastbourne tournament.
In the previous round of the Eastbourne tournament, Sramkova, ranked No 36, beat Romanian Jaqueline Cristian (6-3, 6-2).
