Florianopolis Open: Bulgaru moves into quarters
Miriam Bulgaru beat Solana Sierra 1-6, 6-2, 6-3 on Thursday night and will face Australian wild card Ajla Tomljanovic in the next round.

Romanian Miriam Bulgaru won against Argentinian Solana Sierra 1-6, 6-2, 6-3 to move into the quarter-finals of the Florianopolis Open on Thursday night.
Bulgaru, ranked No 200, will face Australian wildcard Ajla Tomljanovic next.
Ahead of her victory, the Romanian defeated Brazilian Laura Pigossi (6-7 (4), 7-6 (4), 6-0).
Sierra, ranked No 210, beat American Emma Navarro, the top seed (6-4, 7-6 (2)) in the previous round of the Brazilian tournament.
