Guangzhou Open: Qualifier Dolehide advances to semi-finals
The American will face the winner of the match between Chinese Xiyu Wang and Italian Lucia Bronzetti in the next round

American qualifier Caroline Dolehide won against Spaniard Jessica Bouzas Maneiro, the No 7 seed, 6-4, 4-6, 6-0 to reach the last four of the Guangzhou Open at the Nansha International Tennis Center on Friday.
Dolehide, ranked No 101, will play the winner of the match between Chinese Xiyu Wang and Italian Lucia Bronzetti next.
Ahead of her win today, the American beat Russian lucky loser Elena Pridankina (6-2, 6-1) and edged out second seed Marie Bouzkova (6-7 (3), 6-4, 7-6 (6)).
Bouzas Maneiro, ranked No 60, won against Croat qualifier Jana Fett (6-4, 6-3) and Chinese wildcard Han Shi (6-3, 6-4) earlier in the week.
