Hamburg Open: Home hope Korpatsch knocked out by Saville
Daria Saville defeated Tamara Korpatsch 7-6 (6), 6-2. She’ll play German wildcard Jule Niemeier in the next round

Australian qualifier Daria Saville advanced to the last 8 of the Hamburg Open by defeating German Tamara Korpatsch 7-6 (6), 6-2 at Am Rothenbaum.
Saville, ranked No 225, will face German wildcard Jule Niemeier next.
In the previous round of the Hamburg tournament, the Australian won against Italian Jasmine Paolini, the No 4 seed (6-0, 7-6 (3)).
Korpatsch, ranked No 100, won against Argentinian Maria Lourdes Carle (3-6, 6-2, 6-1) during the 32 of the Hamburg tournament.
