Spaniard Cristina Bucsa advanced to the final of the Hong Kong Open by defeating Australian Maya Joint, the No 5 seed, 6-3, 6-1 at Victoria Park, Causeway Bay on Saturday night.

Bucsa, ranked No 68, will face the winner of the match between No 3 seed Victoria Mboko and second seed Leylah Fernandez next.
