Katerina Siniakova advanced to the quarter-finals of the Hong Kong Open by defeating Russian Kamilla Rakhimova 6-7 (3), 6-3, 6-1.
Siniakova, ranked No 85, will face the winner of the match between Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova and Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia, the second seed, next.
In the previous round of the Hong Kong tournament, Katerina Siniakova won against Chinese Xiyu Wang (6-4, 7-6 (7)).
Rakhimova, ranked No 81, beat Frenchwoman Varvara Gracheva, the No 8 seed (6-3, 6-2) in the previous round of the Hong Kong tournament.
