Ladies Open Lausanne: Zidansek reaches quarter-finals

Slovenian Tamara Zidansek beat Spaniard Sara Sorribes Tormo in straight sets (6-3, 7-5) on Thursday to move into the quarter-finals of the Ladies Open Lausanne.
Zidansek, ranked No 133 and winner here in 2021, will now face Hungarian Anna Bondar.
Ahead of her victory, the Slovenian won against Italian Lucia Bronzetti, the No 4 seed (6-2, 6-4).
Sorribes Tormo, ranked No 87, defeated Swiss wildcard Susan Bandecchi (6-2, 6-1) in the previous round.
