German wildcard Eva Lys advanced to the second round of the Linz Open by beating Russian lucky loser Kamilla Rakhimova 6-4, 7-6 (5) at the Design Center Linz on Tuesday.
Lys, ranked No 126, will play the winner of the match between American Bernarda Pera, the No 7 seed, and Hungarian qualifier Dalma Galfi next.
