L’Open 35 de Saint Malo: Osaka battles back from first set loss to reach last eight
Naomi Osaka edged out Diane Parry 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 on Thursday and will face Frenchwoman Elsa Jacquemot in the next round

Japanese Naomi Osaka, the second seed, advanced to the last eight of the L’Open 35 de Saint Malo by edging out Frenchwoman Diane Parry 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 on Thursday.
Osaka, ranked No 55, will play Frenchwoman Elsa Jacquemot next.
Ahead of her victory, the Japanese won against Croat Petra Marcinko (6-2, 6-1).
Parry, ranked No 116, beat Jessika Ponchet (6-2, 6-2) in the previous round.
