Montevideo Open: Parry beats Sierra to move into last four
Diane Parry beat Solana Sierra 2-6, 6-4, 6-0 and will face the winner of the match between Robin Montgomery and Ylena In-Albon in the next round

Frenchwoman Diane Parry, the top seed, moved into the last four of the Montevideo Open by winning against Argentinian Solana Sierra, the No 7 seed, 2-6, 6-4, 6-0 at the Carrasco Lawn Tennis Club.
Parry, ranked No 94, will face the winner of the match between American Robin Montgomery and Swiss Ylena In-Albon next.
Ahead of her victory, the 21-year-old Frenchman defeated Russian Amina Anshba (7-5, 6-3) and Greek Despina Papamichail (6-1, 6-2).
Sierra, ranked No 193, beat Brazilian wildcard Carolina Bohrer Martins (6-4, 6-1) and Georgian Ekaterine Gorgodze (6-3, 3-6, 6-3) earlier in the tournament.
