Egyptian Mayar Sherif, the No 3 seed, advanced to the last 16 of the Morocco Open by defeating Ukrainian Kateryna Baindl 6-1, 6-3 at Union Sportive des Cheminots du Maroc in Rabat on Sunday evening.
