Mubadala Citi DC Open: Keys beats Zheng; sets up all-American clash with Brady
The world No 16 scored a 7-5, 6-1 win over Qinwen Zheng

American Madison Keys, the No 7 seed, won against Chinese Qinwen Zheng 7-5, 6-1 to move into the last 16 of the Mubadala Citi DC Open on Tuesday.
Keys, ranked No 16 in the world, will play fellow American Jennifer Brady next. Brady is playing only her second tournament, and her first at the WTA level, since August 2021.

Brady has won the only previous meeting between the two, scoring a three-set win over Keys in Beijing in 2019.
