Mumbai Open: Rodionova through to second round

Australian Arina Rodionova, the No 4 seed, moved into the second round of the Mumbai Open by winning against Dutchwoman Suzan Lamens 6-2, 7-5 at the Cricket Club of India on Tuesday.

Rodionova, the oldest woman to break into the world’s top 100 for the first time as she climbed to No 97 in the rankings this week, will face Dutchwoman Arianne Hartono next.
